About Me
Hi, I’m Courtney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. Before starting my virtual private practice, I worked as a school-based therapist, supporting teens through the unique challenges they face at school and at home. This experience gave me a deep understanding of adolescent mental health and the pressures teens navigate daily.
Being both a therapist and a working mom allows me to relate personally to the struggles moms face, and I’m passionate about tailoring therapy to meet the needs of both teens and mothers. Whether you’re a mom feeling overwhelmed or a teen trying to find your path, I provide a compassionate, safe space for healing and growth.
In my practice, I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore what you’re going through. I use evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR to help you process emotions, build coping skills, and move toward healing and balance.
I especially enjoy working with clients who are experiencing:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Parenting challenges
• Work-related stress
• Life transitions
• Postpartum depression and maternal mental health
You do not have to carry it all on your own. I am here to walk alongside you as you work toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.
